- Surgimed Solutions reserves the right to review control methods and inspect material included in this order at the supplier's plant and at any sub-tier plant. Access rights shall be extended to our customer and Government or Regulatory Agency representatives.
- Any non-conforming product must be approved by Surgimed Solutions prior to shipping. When pre-approved to ship nonconforming material, the acknowledgment letter must be included with the shipment and attached to the Packing slip.
- Supplier must notify Surgimed Solutions of changes in the purchased product prior to implementation of any changes that affect the ability of the purchased product to meet specified purchase requirements.
- A Certificate of Conformance shall be provided with each delivery certifying the ordered part meets all requirements of the Purchase Order or subcontract. The C of C will be signed by an authorized representative.
- Supplier shall maintain Inspection/Test data on file for a minimum of 7 years, (if required by the P.O.).
- The supplier shall insure that requirements be flowed down to sub-tier suppliers, including key characteristics as applicable.
- The supplier shall maintain a system that will ensure adequate controls over all gages, measuring and testing equipment that will be used for product acceptance in accordance with ISO 10012-1 or equivalent. Calibrations must be traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
- Unless otherwise specified, the supplier shall use good commercial practices for preservation and packaging of items supplied to Surgimed Solutions.
- Supplier shall ensure that their employees are aware of their contribution to product or service conformity, contribution to product safety and the importance of ethical behavior.
- If product traceability is noted on the purchase order, suppliers shall maintain relevant purchasing information in the form of documents and records.
